Chinese Acupuncture

According to various sources dating back to the knowledge of the Chinese Acupuncture about five thousand years before Christ. That is like you read already quite a long time back. The old inscriptions, texts and historical remains are found around the year 500 BC. These give us a good insight about the beginning of this ancient healing art and his rationale about the interaction between man and his environment.

Chinese acupuncture is a treatment with needles. In the past, there are many different kinds of needles used: from wood to gold, in the shape of an arrow, straight needles and so on. Fortunately, nowadays one uses thin straight needles of surgical steel, with occasional gold or silver coating for an extra effect (sedative or tonifiërend). Also, it's nice to know that most acupuncturists use disposable needles and so the risk of infections is practically indispensable.

Putting the needle is often as painless experience. Be experiencing many feel from "the Qi" as weird, sensitive or apart, but fortunately not as painful. The feeling of "Qi" you can best describe as if a fluid through your veins, the place goes to the needle gets hot or you have some sort of tingling, vibration or movement near the needle observes. This experience is explained, because you go through the needle the Qi (energy) and Xue (blood) in the Meridian sets in motion. That stimulation feel so sometimes actually happen. However, it is important to know that you do not always have to feel and an acupuncture treatment experienced by every man otherwise.
